Justin Bieber isn’t the only person obsessed with Missy Franklin.

Here are a few reasons we love the 17-year-old gold medalist:

1. I mean, she is a 17-year-old gold medalist. That is pretty cool. And worth repeating.

2. She has turned down endorsement deals so she can still compete with her high school swim team.

3. She won the gold in the 100m backstroke just a few minutes after competing in a qualifying race for the 200m free event.

4. Her Twitter account is all kinds of adorable.
